Matches and Results
Coventry United football club have had an eventful and successful summer winning all 5 of their pre-season friendlies in July. The team won matches against Chelmsley Town, Coventry Amateurs, West Midlands Police, Jaguar Daimler and RS Sports.
With the 2013 season now well underway, the team, who play in division 2 of the Midlands Combination League, have chalked up some great results so far,
with league victories over Kenilworth Town KH, Leamington Hibernian and Enville Athletic.
A 3-2 win on Saturday against top of the league Paget Rangers puts Coventry United through to the third round of the divisional Cup.
Top scorer this season is striker Daniel Stokes with an impressive 11 goals in 7 matches.

New Home Base
In August, the team moved from Westwood Heath to the Alan Higgs Centre. Located in the South East of Coventry, the Centre has an excellent range of sports and recreational facilities and will provide a great home base for Coventry United and its supporters. The Centre has hosted training sessions for National and International football teams and was chosen by LOCOG as a training venue for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
